After a host of interesting delays and the usual travel drama that seems to plague me on every trip, I finally made it to Denver yesterday evening. As we were close to Denver, we flew by the horrible High Park wildfires currently plaguing the nearby area. I managed to catch a quick photo from my iPhone. Apparently the fires have now burned over 49,000 acres and are only about 10% contained. Growing up in California with our share of horrible wildfires over the years, my heart definitely goes out to everyone affected by this disaster.
