Photo of the Day: Ha’Penny Bridge at Night in Dublin, Ireland

The Ha’Penny Bridge is officially called the Liffey Bridge and is a pedestrian bridge built in 1816.
It’s one of Dublin’s most famous bridges and was the first iron bridge in Ireland. It was called the Ha’penny bridge because there once was a half-penny charge to cross it. The official name of Liffey Bridge comes from the fact that is crosses the Liffey River.
