Photo of the Day: Hammock on the beach in Hopkins, Belize
The weather has been rather odd the last few days here on Ambergris Caye in Belize. From stifling heat and humidity in the morning with zero breeze to 40 mph wind gusts later in the day, it’s not surprising that I ended up sick! Because of that, all I want to do is lay in a hammock on the beach and do absolutely nothing. And that’s an easy thing to do here in Belize — even on the mainland. For today’s “H” post on the A to Z Blog Challenge, I was instantly reminded of the hammocks on the beach in the sleepy seaside village of Hopkins in Belize.
With a view like that, how could you not want to lounge around all afternoon?
