Despite the fact it feels like 100 degrees right now in Belize, I couldn’t resist posting a picture of my favorite Irish coffee for today’s A to Z photo blog challenge post. Outside of Ireland, this has been the best Irish coffee I’ve encountered on my travels. And with good reason, the Buena Vista Cafe in San Francisco is credited with bringing the Irish Coffee to America. Started back in 1952, the Buena Vista has earned a reputation for the serving up the most authentic Irish coffees around. If you haven’t been, it’s definitely worth a visit when you are in San Francisco as it’s quite a show when they line up the coffees during preparation. Expect crowds in the evening and on the weekends.
